Events in the 5600 Room
Rental fee
Hourly for meetings and classes:
Non-prime-time: $40/hour + GST (7:00 am-5:00 pm)
Prime-time: $50/hour + GST (5:00 pm-10:00 pm)
Per event for parties:
Afternoon or evening party rate (up to 4 hours): $175 + GST
Confirming your booking
If you are renting this space for an event, your rental will be confirmed when all the details have been worked out and your invoice is paid.
Bar Services
Client Stocked Bar | Buy the liquor and liquor license and get the all the proceeds from the bar at your event. Corkage fee per guest is mandatory.
Alcohol service corkage: $5.75 per guest.
Non-alcohol Service Bar | Don’t want alcohol but still looking for refreshments for your guests? This is a great option for town halls and high school gatherings.
Non-alcohol service corkage: $4.50 per guest.

Bartending Staff
If you are having an event which includes alcohol service, you will be required to hire our bartending staff at $21 per hour. The 5600 Room requires 1 bartender for bar service. Our staff are fully trained, ProServe certified and are required in accordance with the AGLC and our insurance provider.
Clients do not have the option to provide their own bartenders for TGCA events.
Corkage
The corkage fee is mandatory for events with Client Stocked Bar service and the corkage fee you are charged is based on your expected number of guests. This fee will appear on your invoice to be paid 2 weeks before your event.
The corkage fee includes the following: pop, juice, ice, plastic glasses.
Corkage fee for events serving alcohol: $5.75 per person
Corkage fee for events not serving alcohol: $4.50 per person

Venue Information
This space is incredibly versatile and works perfectly for small parties, and medium-sized meetings or classes. It’s bright and midway between the main building and the arena. Capacity is 30 people, seated and is approximately 17’ x 31’ in size.
There is a bar with pop gun, sink and refrigerators; washrooms right outside the entrance to the space, a television and stereo available for entertainment, a convenient space to store coats and serve food, and the rental includes 3’ x 6’ tables and chairs. This space is wheelchair accessible, and there is ample parking adjacent.
Tables, chairs, setup, teardown and cleanup are included in all space rentals.
