2026/27 TGCA Volleyball League accepting new teams

Volleyball is a great way to get some exercise and get out and meet some people. Our leagues are great for the those that just want to have some fun and all the way up to the ultra competitive player.

The TGCA has three leagues: Monday night – intermediate, Wednesday night – recreational, and Thursday night. You must be 18 years of age and up to play in this adult league.

Play is at 8:30 pm and 9:45 pm in the gymnasium, and some nights, you may play both times. The seasons for this league run Fall to Spring, with a break at Christmas.

2026/27 dates

Monday night intermediate league:  Sept. 14 – Mar. 29

Wednesday night intermediate league: Sept. 9 – Mar. 31 | accepting teams for Wednesdays!

Thursday night recreational league: Sept. 10 – Mar. 18 | accepting teams for Thursdays!

Tournament: Jan. 8 & 9

Windup: April 3

Registration

Registration is per team. There must be at least two of the opposite sex per team unless the team is all female. Each team must have a minimum of 6 players. League leaders may be able to arrange a spare to join your team if you need one.

Players in the TGCA Volleyball League are required to be Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association members. If you don’t have a membership, please visit our membership info page here and join up with our easy online payments and convenient online membership accounts. Getting your membership online is easy, it’s only $15 annually and there’s plenty of perks that come with being a member of your community association!

Fees

Fees include 20 nights of volleyball, 2 – 3 weeks of playoffs, a two-day tournament, t-shirt, and a windup dinner with dance, awards trophies and jackets for first and second in your league.

Team registration pricing dependent on how many teams register. In-person registration and fee payment in September. Fees must be paid per team. No individual fee payments permitted, unless you aren’t on a team. League leaders will call team captains with dates and details.
