The TGCA is saddened to announce the passing of Roland LaCoste, a lifetime TGCA member, and beloved husband, father, grandfather and so much more.

Roland was active with the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association Booster Club. He enjoyed bartending and conversing with all the oilmen at their tournaments. He especially enjoyed getting his clothes messy (not) mixing up pancake batter for Stampede and Winterfest events.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roland’s memory to Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association below, (towards purchase of Ice Resurfacer in the Arena) or by mail to 5600 Centre Street N., Calgary, Alberta, T2K 0T3.

A Celebration of Roland’s Life will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association.
