The bake sale at the Craft Fair went so well last year that we sold out early on day 2, so we’re looking for as many volunteer bakers as we can find this year. All bake sale proceeds to benefit the 2024 TGCA Holiday Adopt-a-Family, which is in its 5th year of successfully supporting local families during the holidays.
Do you like to bake? Is there one seasonal recipe that you’ve got down pat? The TGCA Craft Fair Committee is seeking volunteer bakers to donate 2 dozen seasonal baked items for our craft fair – you know, to make the season bright! When we say “seasonal,” we mean: gingerbread, shortbread, fruit cake, Christmas cookies, spiced loafs, autumnal fruit pies, etc. Chocolate chip cookies were a big hit last year!
Here’s what we need from bakers:
- Provide minimum 2 dozen baked good (cookies, squares, cupcakes) or 2 fruit pies or 2 loafs.
- Package your (non-pie/loaf) baked goods in ½ dozens.
- Provide a list of all the ingredients in the recipe that you prepared in case a customer has allergy concerns.
- Delivery to the centre on either Thursday, Nov. 14 or Friday, Nov. 15 between 8 am and 4 pm.
- Feel great about supporting local families during the holidays and making this year’s craft fair super yum!
See AHS bake sale guidelines here.
If you can pitch in, please fill out the form at the top of the page.
If you can’t deliver in the window above, that’s okay! Call Vanessa to make arrangements to drop off Thursday. All bakers will receive more info the week of the event.
