Work planned for 2023

The community park, planned for City-owned vacant land at Centre Street N and 41 Avenue N.E. is anticipated to start construction in the Spring of 2023 and will open the same year. The pathway within the park space and sidewalk connections along the south side of 41 Avenue N.E. will also be completed in 2023.

Due to the change in weather conditions, the pathway through Laycock Park will be paved in 2023 and will remain closed throughout the winter.

Construction hours:

• Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
• Weekends, weekdays, and overnight as required.
• *Please note: construction is variable, and the schedule is subject to change depending on factors such as complexity, weather, supply chain, and access.
