The TGCA wants to hear from you about rezoning!

As a community association we will be providing our feedback to the city on the proposed city-wide rezoning changes and we’re looking for our residents’ input as we prepare our response.  As this is an important change under consideration, we want to ensure feedback from the community is captured in our submission.

We would appreciate your time in completing this short survey. This survey is open to anyone, not just residents of Thorncliffe Greenview. Please encourage your friends and neighbours to also participate.

There’s also a TGCA Rezoning Info Session on Mar. 27 in the main hall at 6:30 pm. Please consider attending and tell your neighbours. Look for announcements soon. 

Background

The City of Calgary is proposing changes to current rezoning which will impact Thorncliffe/Greenview.  The proposed change would be from the current R-C1/C2 designation to R-CG.

R-CG is a residential designation that is primarily for rowhouses but also allows for single detached, side by side and duplex homes all of which can include secondary suites. 

The proposal will go before city council on April 22, 2024 and we encourage all residents to review the proposed changes and provide your feedback to the City as well. Further information about rezoning can be found at https://www.calgary.ca/planning/projects/rezoning-for-housing.html.
