WHAT IS A “HUMAN LIBRARY”?

The library is full of people just like you. People who have skills, knowledge, and talent they would like to share. All ages are welcome!

WHAT’S YOUR SKILL, TALENT OR KNOWLEDGE?

The Highland Park Human Library has space for all types of skills, talent and knowledge. Some examples are:

  • Study strategies

  • Bike repair

  • Budgeting

  • Gardening

  • Cultural knowledge

  • Cooking a special dish

  • Teaching a language

  • Nature walks

  • Painting/Drawing

  • Meditation

SHARE YOUR SKILLS, TALENTS OR KNOWLEDGE

  • By hosting a workshop or presentation

  • Through one on one conversations with other residents

  • At community events

Members of the organizing committee are here to help you join the Highland Park Human Library and prepare to share your skill, talent or knowledge.

NEIGHBOURHOODS ARE RICH IN SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
