The 2023 TGCA Holiday Decorating Contest has been canceled due to lack of interest. Look for another holiday activity to engage the community next year and if you have any suggestions or would like to spearhead something, please email Vanessa v.gillard@tgcacalgary.com.
Wanna make the season a little brighter? So do we! Let’s get into the spirit and show the community our festive lights and decoration displays, Thorncliffe Greenview.
Submit your entry by Dec. 21 at 3:30 pm and you could win some great prizes! We will take votes from the community on this page too, so come back and vote for your favourites in the community.
A map of all the entries will be released on this page on Dec. 22, so you can take some hot chocolate in your favourite go-mug to see the lights!
How to enter: Email 3 images –as attachments, not embedded into the email body– of your holiday lights and outdoor décor to v.gillard@tgcacalgary.com with your address and name or family name. Submission deadline is Dec. 21, 3:30 pm.
See map of entries: there will be a link to a digital map of contest entries available on this page on Dec. 22. When the sun gets low, do a tour of the neighbourhood and let the lights inspire some of that Christmas glow.
Vote in the contest: voting will take place from Dec. 22 – Jan. 7. Visit this page to vote on your favourite entries. Voting will be 1 – 5 stars per entry. Give your favourites all 5!
Winners to be announced on January 8, 2024.

TGCA gift cards can be used for just about all the facilities in the centre, like bowling (walk-in) and the restaurant!
