We need the community's help to start a playgroup
The TGCA has teamed up with some local families to start a playgroup but before we begin to play, we need equipment, so we’re looking for donations.
All donations need to be appropriate for babies/toddlers. So no small parts, loose plastic or sharp corners.
If you have any of the following gently used items, please drop off, thoroughly cleaned, at the TGCA office during office hours, Mon-Fri, 9 am – 4:30 pm or contact Vanessa to make other arrangements, 403-274-6840 or email v.gillard@tgcacalgary.com. For larger items, please call ahead.
The TGCA is grateful for community members’ generosity, however items not on the list will not be accepted.
Donations accepted until March 1.
TGCA playgroup wishlist:
Bins of 2 specific sizes with lids in good used condition – we need specific sized bins because storage is limited.
Bin size #1 – preferably clear, 30 gallon, dimensions L30 1/2″ x W19 7/8″ x W16 3/8″
Bin size #2 – preferably clear, maximum L24″ x W12″ x H”12
Play mats for crawling and playing on – foldable and wipeable for easy cleaning and storage
A gently used play kitchen, preferably with kitchen toy set
Balls for rolling and playing together
Board books – books that have cardboard pages
Activity cube for ages 5 and under
Little People play set
Duplo/Mega Bloks
Small baby toys – rattles, stacking cups, teethers
Balance stepping stones, step stools
Wooden puzzles
Toy trains/cars
Musical toys for babies/toddlers – maraca, xylophone, tambourine, drum, etc.
