Tis’ the season to be jolly and the TGCA has just the activity this holiday season to spread some community cheer! However you celebrate the season, show the community in a snap that says it all and be entered into the draw for one of 3 $25 gift cards.

All you need to do is take a funny pic or cute holiday photo of either yourself, your family or your pet(s) and:

• Post your photo on your Facebook page, mention that TGCA Holiday Photo Caption Spectacular and tag the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association. @TGCA5600 or, if you follow us, you can also type in Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association.
• Not on Facebook? No problem. Email your photo with your name to the TGCA at v.gillard@tgcacalgary.com with the subject Holiday Photo Caption Activity. (Those without a Facebook account will be able to see the photos and captions on the TGCA Facebook page but will not be able to comment on photos to caption them.)

TGCA is accepting tag submissions until Friday Dec. 20 at noon, so post yours up soon!

We will share photos on the TGCA Facebook page and Chat Group, and followers/group members can comment their cleverest/funniest/kindest captions on the photos for the rest of the neighbourhood to see. The more captions, the better! All picture submissions (one per household/Facebook account) to be entered into a draw for one of three $25 TGCA gift cards to be given out in the New Year. TGCA gift cards can be used in The 56 restaurant and in the TGCA office for programs and other payments.

Entries/tags accepted until Dec. 20, 2024 but community members can add captions throughout the holidays. Draw winners to be contacted Jan. 3, 2025.

Please note that this is not a contest. All submissions will be entered into a random draw. Any captions deemed inappropriate will be deleted by the TGCA. Entries on Instagram will not be valid as they can’t be shared.
