All volunteer positions filled!! Thanks Thorncliffe and Greenview!
We are looking for volunteers for The TGCA Community Cleanup Depot on June 22, 2025. The event runs from 9 am to 2 pm and our volunteers will be required to start at 8:30 am for set up and orientation and remain until 2:30 for take down. This is typically a busy event, so if you have the time, we can certainly use the hands.
TGCA will provide the following to each volunteer:
- Water
- Lunch
- High vis vest
- Safety orientation and instructions
- Parking in the North lot
Volunteers are to provide the following for their use:
- Weather appropriate gear (sunglasses, rain jacket, sun hat, etc.)
- Work gloves
- Proper footwear (work boots or hard toed shoes are suggested)
- Water bottle (fillable)
Possible duties include:
- Traffic directing
- Light duty unloading assistance
- Vehicle greeting and identification
- Maintenance of pylons and barricades
- Vehicle positioning with orderly hold and release
- Pedestrian safety guidance
