TGCA 2025 Cleanup Depot, June 22

In partnership with The City of Calgary, Technotrash, Recon Metal, and The Salvation Army, The TGCA is hosting our area Community Cleanup Depot on June 22, 2025 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

You are encouraged to bring your recycling, donations and garbage for disposal (list of permitted items below). This is an excellent opportunity to do that spring cleaning in the house, garage or yard and freshen up for summer. Please let others on your block know about this day as this will be a great opportunity to get to know your neighbours.

Directions: Entry to the event will be from the entrance on Centre Street and exit then on 56th Ave turning East or West. Upon arrival you will be directed by volunteers to ensure the flow of traffic and to make it easy for other events at the community centre if they occur. Safe vehicle travel and respectful behavior to you and to others is expected.

The easiest route would be North bound on Centre Street and then turning right into the front vehicle access driveway. This would then avoid a left hand turn off of Centre.

To learn more about how to dispose of household waste of all kinds, visit the City of Calgary’s What Goes Where information page here: https://www.calgary.ca/waste/what-goes-where/default.html

Keep the date open and shorten that to-do list. We’ll see you there!

Volunteer positions are now filled. Thanks Thorncliffe and Greenview!
