Via the TGCA Board of Directors:
The City of Calgary is proposing changes to current rezoning which will impact Thorncliffe/Greenview. The proposed change would be from the current R-C1/C2 designation to R-CG.
R-CG is a residential designation that is primarily for rowhouses but also allows for single detached, side by side and duplex homes all of which can include secondary suites.
The proposal will go before city council on April 22, 2024 and we encourage all residents to review the changes and provide your feedback to the city.
Further information can be found at https://www.calgary.ca/planning/projects/rezoning-for-housing.html. We have also attached information on the changes.
