It’s the 11th Annual Neighbour Day in Calgary and the TGCA has got some great ways to connect with neighbours this year. This is a free event so bring the whole family and let’s support local together at the community centre!

Neighbours please note: This is an outdoor event but if there’s very uncooperative weather, it will be moved indoors, so you can plan on coming no matter what the weather is like.

Parking in the north and east lots, pet-friendly event, bring a reusable shopping bag!

Vendor market

Support local artists and vendors at the market all day. We’ll have 30+ vendors with everything from birdhouses to clothing to kids’ toys this year. Come and explore the market and chat with vendors. With items ranging $5 and up there truly is something for everyone.

Check out all the vendors in the market here.

Live music, Ollee Owens

Ollee Owens will be back this year providing lively music and melody for our market goers.

Lunch | noon

Enjoy a delicious lunch with all the fixins served up by the TGCA board of directors.

Face painting

Thanks to a generous donation from our community partner, Greenview Industrial Business Investment Area, we will have a glitter face painting at Neighbour Day this year, so think of your favourite animal and come ready to transform!

Treat trucks

Calgary Food Trucks is sending us a truck to sooth that sweet tooth. We’ll have more details on which truck is coming the week of the event. We’ll also be hosting KC Sweet Treats truck which has a delectable menu of sweet and salty offerings.

Calgary Fire Department fire truck visit | 2 – 3 pm

Come and see a fire truck up close and meet some of our local fire fighters! Our local fire trucks have to remain on duty to respond to fires, so although they’re booked for our Neighbour Day celebrations, the TGCA wants everyone to understand that they may have to respond to a fire. Let’s keep our fingers crossed, everyone!
