McKnight pedestrian bridge closed, July 8 – 12

Via The City of Calgary – Public Space Delivery, Bridges, And Structures

Update on the McKnight Boulevard Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation project completed in 2022. As part of The City’s typical two-year warranty period, we identified a few minimal items needing correction before releasing the contractor from its obligation.

We are planning to temporarily shut down the bridge from July 8-12 for our contractor, Graham Infrastructure, to complete warranty work including repairs to the pathway asphalt, concrete sealant and paint coating.

During this period, pedestrians will need to use the at-grade crossing at McKnight Boulevard and Centre Street North intersection approximately 150m west of the bridge.
