Calling Thorncliffe Greenview Gardeners! We need your help

There is something inherently calming about gardening. The connection with nature, the smell of fresh soil, the joy of seeing a plant you’ve nurtured grow and bloom – these are just a few of the wonderful aspects of gardening. But what if you could share this joy with others while contributing to your community? The TGCA Volunteer Gardening Gang offers just that opportunity!

Our TGCA Volunteer Garden Gang is looking for additional members to join.

The group helps look after the native gardens by the inclusive playground and some of the garden beds, as well as seasonal projects too.

In particular, we are looking for folks with any level of gardening skill who may be available on Tuesdays at 9:30 – 11:30 am or Wednesdays at 6 – 8 pm or both. 

Time commitment: 4-6 hours/month with time increasing slightly during special projects/events.
