Update #8: Missing Child – Parker
We continue to ask the public for help a week into our search for Parker.
Despite an exhaustive search and ongoing investigative efforts, including following up on more than 400 tips, and reviewing over 1,000 videos clips from CCTV in the area, we continue to be unable to identify Parker’s whereabouts after he was last seen on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12:52 p.m.
As time remains critical and given Parker’s history of entering structures and locking doors behind him, we are asking anyone who may be aware of vacant properties or homeowners who are away for an extended period of time in the following areas to contact police:

· Travis Crescent N.E.
· Trelle Drive N.E.
· Taylor Crescent N.E.
· Travis Place N.E.
· Thomas Street N.E.
We also continue to ask all residents to thoroughly check their properties, as well as realtors and property managers to ensure any vacant properties have been searched.
“We remain relentless in our commitment to finding answers to the question we are all asking: where is Parker,” says acting Staff Sergeant Scott Guterson. “While there may come a time when all realistic search avenues have been exhausted, we will not give up, and we will continue the missing person investigation for as long as it takes.”
The support from the community has been extraordinary. At the same time, we recognize that the emotional toll of this search has grown heavier with each passing day. We will continue to have a significant police and search presence including our Air Support Unit, Mounted Patrol Team, Mountain Bike Unit, Canine Unit, patrol officers, investigators and trained search volunteers.
Parker was last seen shirtless, wearing dark shorts and black noise-cancelling headphones. He is described as 4’11” tall, weighing approximately 90 pounds, with brown hair, a shaved head and brown eyes.
Parker is neurodivergent and non-verbal and may become even more scared if confronted by strangers. If Parker is located, members of the public are asked not to approach him. Instead, keep him in sight and call 911 immediately.
