The TGCA Office
The TGCA office is off the main lobby on the south side of the building. Our staff can help you with most purchases and payments and answer any questions you may have.
Hours of Operation: 9 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday.
Closed all stat and civic holidays.
Book a space at the TGCA
To book a space at the TGCA we’ll need to know how many guest you’re expecting and the date you’re hoping to book to begin with. Call Diana Christie at the number below – ext. 101 – or submit an inquiry on our site under “Spaces for Rent.”
The 56 Restaurant and Lounge/Rec Centre
The 56 is located on the south side of the centre, with its own dedicated entrance just below the seniors’ centre and access through the main building east stairs and the elevator. See the map on the bottom of this page for entrances. The 5-pin bowling alley and racquetball courts are adjacent to/paid for at the restaurant and can be booked online.

11 am – 12 am, Friday & Saturday
11 am – 6 pm, Sundays

Forbes Innes Arena
The arena is located on the north side of the building, with ample parking and access on 56th Avenue/Northmount Dr.
For items lost at the arena, please contact the arena manager, Rob Golemme.
Skate shop hours - now closed
The skate shop closes April 20 and reopens September 2023. If you’d like to get your skates sharpened by appointment, call Larry, 587-999-2397.

Thornview Seniors Community Association – separate membership from the TGCA
The seniors’ centre at the TGCA is a separate organization from the TGCA and has its own membership requirements. There are 2 floors of leisure space in the seniors’ centre, with amenities like snooker tables, fitness programs, organized games like cards and mah-jong, crafts and more. To participate at Thornview Senior you must be a member.
The seniors’ centre is located on the south side of the building. There is a ramp and sliding door on the SSE side (green star in map below) and there is a dedicated entrance to the seniors’ centre on the southmost side of the building (blue star in map below).

Crime concerns in Thorncliffe & Greenview
In addition to reporting crime to CPS, email us your crime concerns, and we’ll pass it on to our area CPS representative, Constable Lower. The information we collect from the community will give local police a more contextualized perspective on local issues that concern residents.
