There is something inherently calming about gardening, don’t you think? The connection with nature, the smell of fresh soil, the joy of seeing a plant you’ve nurtured grow and bloom – these are just a few of the wonderful aspects of gardening. What if you could share this joy with others while contributing to your community? The TGCA Volunteer Gardening Gang offers just that opportunity!

Our TGCA Volunteer Garden Gang is looking for additional members to join. They look after the native gardens by the inclusive playground and the beds by the south parking lot each summer, and they’re looking for more volunteers who can come once or twice a week from May – September. 

This year’s garden maintenance volunteer schedule:

• From May 19 – June 23, Tuesday mornings 9 – 11 am
• Beginning May 6, Wednesday evenings 6:30 – 8:30 pm
• Beginning June 29, Monday mornings 9 – 11 am

If you have a love for plants, would like to meet some neighbours, and don’t mind getting your hands dirty – join the gardening gang!
