One of the most important things we can do about climate change is talk about it. We take the conversation to communities around the city so you can talk to your neighbours and subject experts about how to take action at the local level.

What Can I Expect?

Each CCC is tailored to the needs of the community. You will hear short presentations on topics ranging from active transportation and solar power to food security and climate grief. Next, join a break-out session for an in-depth conversation about the topic that interests you. Halfway through, join another session to talk about another topic.

Activation Conversations  

A few weeks later, come to a follow up session with others who want to take on a project in your community. We will explore how to form a Community Action Node, help to identify leaders and provide a framework to carry the project forward.
