Hello Thorncliffe Greenview!
February is Black History Month and I have to admit, this is my first year as a Community Social Worker to even send something out about it. Events of 2020 have certainly brought issues around racial justice to the forefront, although they have been here for so long.
I want to encourage you all to start somewhere with learning about Black History. Below are some links to resources to help. With everything virtual now, it can be overwhelming with all the links and emails – even just check out one video and that is a start!
If you have an idea you would like to work on in the community, let me know!
