Join the TGCA in our third year of community gardening adventures! The TGCA community garden opened in 2024 to eager gardeners in Thorncliffe and Greenview. It’s on he south side of the community association. Adjacent to the community garden is the complimentary community orchard (in progress); a lawn bowling green (primarily coordinated by The Thornview Seniors 55+); the inclusive playground and surrounding gardens which include a picnic area and a little gallery showcasing local artists’ work year-round. The recent development of this outdoor community hub is a wonderful addition to the TGCA facility and grounds and has become a perfect place for the increasing numbers of young families moving to the area to connect.

Applications are now open and garden beds are free to use for residents of Thorncliffe and Greenview. If you’d like to take part in this gardening project, applications for the TGCA community garden are open until April 30 at 3 pm.

A random lottery will be held to choose successful applicants. Residents chosen for a box will be notified shortly after application deadline.
