Jam Can is back and the community is totally pumped! Register your team and join in the fun at the Forbes Innes Arena when this curling-type-game brings old and young together again during the most frigid time of the year. There’ll be lots of laughs, friendly competition, and food and drink too.

When & Where? Event will take place at the Forbes Innes Arena on the north side of the TGCA at 6:45 pm on Friday, Feb. 7th.

What is Jam Can? The Jam Can event has been bringing community members together for decades, and after a hiatus of a few years, volunteers have come together to bring the event back to Thorncliffe and Greenview. Essentially, Jam Can is a curling tournament using paint cans, but you don’t need any special brooms or shoes.

Prizes: wondering what any of this has to with jam? Well, the tournament winners each get a can of jam for their incredible efforts!

Teams/fees: We’re registering teams of 4 for $40+tax and an online service fee of 5%. 2 members of each team must have active TGCA memberships.

Registration: Make sure you’re logged into your TGCA account and click on the registration link at the top of this page. Enter your team name, all the names of your team members, ensuring that at least one other member (2 total team members) is also a TGCA member. When you have entered all the required info, click add to cart, review your order, and proceed to checkout. You can pay with Visa, Visa debit or Mastercard online. You may also come into the office to pay your team’s fees with credit, debit or cash. Office hours are Mon-Fri, 9 am – 4:30 pm.
Registration cutoff is Feb. 7 at noon.

Food and Drink: drink tickets will be on sale for a full bar and Bratwurst will be available during a break at 9 pm.
