2025 Stampede Yahoo, July 5 – event recap posted!

In spite of some windy weather, the 2025 Stampede Yahoo was a a great time for participants of all ages. Around 1100 free breakfasts were made for hungry cowpokes, and lots of families stayed for the kids zone and BBQ. The concession had popcorn, candy, pop, pinwheels and other treats while the kids zone was running until 2 pm.

The Thornview Seniors put on a line dancing showcase and Jazzersize North Calgary show the neighbourhood their stuff in two demos. Planet Youth were on hand with info and activities and Sandi Hegland gave out lots of cards and bubbles for the kids.

Thanks so much to all of the volunteers, community partners, business members and, of course, cowboys and cowgirls that joined in and made it a day to remember.
