The TGCA membership has benefits for you, your family and the community
A strong community association is built on the foundation of its members, and the TGCA strives to bring ours more reasons to take advantage of what our association has to offer. Though we offer access to our facilities and amenities to all Calgarians, community associations are designed to operate with their members and the community as a first priority, as well as advocating for residents at City Hall in matters of local development and planning.
In voting at the TGCA Annual General Meeting-if you are a voting member-you are looking out for your neighbours, actively increasing quality of life in Thorncliffe Greenview, as well as contributing to the ability of the residents to have a voice in the development of the community. These decisions and processes may seem trivial but in fact have a vital role to play in things like property values and where monies are allotted from the City.
Along with the societal benefits, we offer our members-voting and non-voting-an array of others.

- Resident members are entitled to attend general board meetings, vote at TGCA annual general meetings, and run for a position on the board of directors or nominate a fellow member. More info here.
- Resident members – resident members and their children are eligible for the TGCA Scholarship.
Reduced Space Rental Rates for Consecutive Years Members
If you have been a member consecutively for over two years, you are entitled to a discount on your rental of one of our spaces for events such as birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, celebrations of life, weddings and other family milestone events. We do not offer this for ticketed events, fundraisers or any events that aren’t specifically for the member and their family/friends. We may also waive your damage deposit; however, this is dependant on your membership standing.

This puppy and dog training company runs classes at the TGCA! Pawsitive Solution uses positive training methods that your whole family can participate in. We want everyone in the family to actively engage in your dog’s training.
